Bulgária | Sdruzhenie Asociacia Dyslexia-Bulgaria, BG

DYSLEXIA ASSOCIATION – BULGARIA (DABG) was officially registered in September 2005 in the city of Ruse, Bulgaria, as a non-governmental and non-for-profit organization. The main aims of the organization are:
- to spread information about dyslexia (through publications, lectures, Internet);
- to teach teachers how to recognize the symptoms of dyslexia;
- to educate and support parents of dyslexic children;
- to work individually or in small groups with dyslexic individuals and help them to overcome their difficulties;
- to work towards forming of a dyslexia friendly society that will enable all dyslexic people to reach their potential.
Members of the Association are specialists who are directly engaged in supporting children, young people and adults with learning difficulties (mainly pedagogues and psychologists), scientific
workers, University lecturers, parents of dyslexic children/youngsters, but also people with degrees in
Law and Economics.

As Kocaeli Provincial Directorate of National Education our aims are to raise modern generations who are loyal to Atatürk’s natıonalism, internalize Turkish Nation’s values, know their duties and responsibilities towards the Republic of Turkey; to prepare our youth and children to life and higher education in an educational environment based on reason and science which studies, researches

Letónia | REZEKNES TEHNOLOGIJU AKADEMIJA

Rezekne Academy of Technologies (RTA) is a state founded higher education and science institution of the Republic of Latvia which implements the study programs as well as is engaged in scientific,
research and artistic creative work. There are three faculties in RTA: Economic and Management,
Engineering, as well as Education, Language and Design faculty.
RTA faculties, Research Institute, research centres, and cooperating institutions promote the development of science and research, acquisition of new technologies, development and transfer to
Latvian national economy.
RTA is one of the leading higher education institutions in Latvia in solving problems and problematic issues related to implementation of special education, developmental disorders, prevention of
learning difficulties, as well as in teacher’s education.

Roménia | Scoala Gimnaziala Bogdan Petriceicu Hasdeu

Our school is a primary and lower secondary one. It has got 1765 pupils and 100 teachers. We organize festivals about literature and other topics (at national and international level). Our pupils
come from different financial and educational environments, 5% of our school population belongs to the Roma community. We also have pupils with special needs who work with a specialized teacher.
The most frequent problems our pupils face are: parents working abroad; lacking motivation for learning, due to family difficulties; a high rate of aggression – verbal and physical; low level of
education in the family hub. We have various labs as well as a library. We had a partnership with British Council to celebrate "European Month of Literature" when we organized story-writing activities and competitions for pupils. We organize many activities focusing on reading skills and encouraging it from different perspectives, such as celebrating The Reading Together Day in February 2019 in partnership with The American Corner and The County Library, Spelling Bee competitions, staging theater plays, reciting poetry as part of school shows, as our school “Hasdeu” is named after a pair of father and daughter poets. We also have a literary club entitled “Iulia Hasdeu”.

Grécia | DES Primary private Company

DES (Interactive European School in Greek) is a private school located in Athens Greece. The elementary school hosts 185 students and 35 teachers. The levels of education are six (6 grades) and the ages of children covered are 6-12 years old. Dr. Billie Konstantara, DES founder, has proposed a differentiated educational approach based on the theory of “Multiple Intelligences”, developed by Howard Gardner. DES program has a bilingual perspective and our students speak and read fluent English since we are a candidate IB PYP school. DES is a school based on multiple intelligences and Emotional Intelligence. Every week students have the opportunity with a dedicated child psychologist and teacher to delve into practices around everyday life. Culture is one of them, which often becomes a matter of discussion. Through hands-on activities and role playing we make DES’s students aware of diversity and develop an intercultural awareness.

Lituânia | UAB "ERUDITO" LICEJUS

Erudito Licejus founded in 2016. In the second largest town Kaunas in Lithuania. Licejus currently providing pupils aged 5-15 years old with a high quality education. In 2019 school year 210 student started studies in our licejus. We have pre-primary school, primary school and secondary school.
Licejus curriculum: It currently delivers the Lithuanian National Curriculum, and is a registered Cambridge International School for the primary and lower-secondary levels, and a candidate school for the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme. Its low student-staff ratio means that attentive, child-centred care is guaranteed; also, the most-updated hardware and software resources allow its motivated pupils to achieve their best and become leaders of the future.
Here is a creative space where thinking skills, one of the most important future skills is developed. Licejus mission is to educate knowledge seeking, creative and achievement-oriented personalities.

Eslovénia | Osnovna sola dr. Janeza Mencingerja Bohinjska Bistrica

Primary school dr. Janez Mencinger is situted in Bohinj. Bohinj is ituated in rural alpine area of Slovenia.It is the only school in rea, so it is very important in the community. Bohinj is a part of Triglav National Park. Triglav Natural Park is the only national park in Slovenia. It is located in the northwestern part of the country, it is the part of the Julian Alps. Mount Triglav, the highest peak, is situated almost in the middle of the Park. There are abot 400 students visiting the school and there are about 50 proffessionals working there. Our pupils are from six to fifteen years old. To our school belongs also the subsidary school in the village Srednja vas (about 40 pupils) and the kindergarten.
Bohinj is rural area. A lot of small villages form it, and the biggest is Bohinjska Bistrica. It is a basin surrounded by muontains; there is a big lake at the end of the basin. Since our school is situted in
protected area, beautiful nature, we pay attention for keeping environment well and we tend to have a lot of out door activities (going to mountains, schools in nature, outdoor sports, …) We motivate our students to develop their talents, so we involve them for different extracurricular activites (competitions, research and project work).

Portugal | Centro de Formação EduFor (Agrupamento de Escolas de Mangualde)

The EduFor Training Centre (cf. www.edufor.pt or www.edufor.eu ) is the teacher training centre associated with six school groups, all of them in the district of Viseu in Portugal. The six groups of
schools (Canas de Senhorim, Nelas, Mangualde, Penalva do Castelo, Sátão and Vila Nova de Paiva) associated with EduFor cover a large area of five councils and have a common potential in several domains. EduFor is acknowledged by the Portuguese Ministry of Education as a teacher training entity.
EduFor has been pursuing a policy of questioning, debate, analysis and training, and in a network environment we have been sharing experiments, innovative environments and answers.
The innovative projects that EduFor is now involved in and its Director’s participation in several conferences is proof of its activity.
Because EduFor is an association of schools, it is in a position to involve human resources (teachers,staff, pupils, etc.) with the most appropriate profile for each project.
